We than came back here for lunch, I had a cheap frozen pizza and there was some rice that was going around, anything to save a couple pounds.
Than went back to my Theology class, which is taught by Hadi, a middle aged professor that is from Iran. He lived for the first 8 years of his life and now has PhD in Islamic culture. His class seemed like it was going to be hard because I knew nothing on the culture, but it turns out not many people are well informed on the basics on Islam. It actually seems to be quite interesting, and he seems to be a pretty nice guy.
We went shopping for for groceries, and came back to relax. We than went to China Town on the Tube, took the Piccadilly Line east, to Leicester Square. This is right near the New York like Piccadilly Square, not much more than a 5 minute walk. Kind of a boring dinner, nothing impressive at the place we went to. Satisfying, but nothing that exceeded our expectations. Fun place, eventually we will go back and visit all the street vendors and other little small shops that resemble any big city.
Here is where a lot of theaters for shows and other things, such as comedy would be found. Nice area, fun place to walk through. Saw some people trying to make a Pound of two playing Saxophones and guitars along the road.
Tomorrow, we don't have class! Tuesday is a day off for us. Plan on walking around Convent Gardens, apparently there is always something going on there. Should be fun. If the rain moves in, we will go to some museums, which is rather close to our flat.
More going on later in the week, I promise.
Cheers
Jimmy
